These beautiful soapstone tea light candle holders are intricately carved in soapstone.  

African soapstone is a natural rock from Kisii, Kenya.  Using only a rough file and a chisel as they have for generation upon generation, artisans create beauty. 

Soapstone is predominantly a creamy color, however there are variations naturally occur creating pinks, beige's and grays.
