Cyclone Idai made landfall on March 14th, 2019 and impacted Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe. Wind speeds measured up to 120mph and was accompanied by lashing rain which caused flooding and landslides. This resulted in crops being ruined, roads destroyed and in Beira alone 80% of homes and the public infrastructure has been destroyed. Knowing this the next step is how can we help our African brothers and sisters. Below is list of organizations on the ground ready to assist.
